Did we all just remember this rpg at the same time? o.o
0ooc well hello there everyone

-waves- I’m also not dead, I’ve just been in class and all that college jazz. And I haven’t had a lot of time to write so far. D: Draco, Harry I’m working on yours, Blaise, would you like to start something?
4Ginny and Draco | Invitations To A Night To Remember
She sighed as Draco started rattling off all the rough spots he had gone through over the night. She didn’t exactly want to show him sympathy after all their fights and little spats here and there, but she knew one less cold shoulder would do him better than jumping off the tallest tower of Hogwarts would- for tonight at least.
“Draco,” she said looking up towards him, “things are always worse before they get better. You should know that. Even if you don’t want advice from the Weaselette, just know that things will calm down soon enough. Break is coming up, which will give everyone time to get over it and hopefully just forget about it by next term.” Ginny gave him a slight smile as their eyes met briefly before they looked out towards the dance floor again. “He really does love you. And if anyone knows Harry like the two of us, they’d know it too. Don’t ever jeopardize that, or I may just have to kill you.” The last bit was meant to be a joke, but she knew that he’d probably take it seriously and start up another spat.
Draco felt like he was punched in the stomach, all wind from his insides gone in a flash. He swallowed, his suddenly dry throat scratchy, and was a quite a moment as he stared down at her. He hadn’t been expecting reassuring words from her… and her mention of Harry’s love for him threw him into a place of nervous discomfort. Did Harry really feel that way? Draco had started to think that he might, but that hadn’t said it directly… but then again these past few weeks had been emotionally overwhelming to say the least.
“Have you gotten used to the idea?” he said finally. “Because the amount of time Harry and I have bickered about the way I treat you has been more than I can count. And I’m not fond of it. But I don’t know how I can play nice with you when you hate me as you do, think so little of me as I know you must. And when you…” he glanced over at where Harry was across the hall, then looked back to her. He was oddly proud at how calm he was, despite the context of his words, he wasn’t snapping at her, simply laying out the facts. “If you still wish it was you in my place.”
He stared her down, knowing the words would whirl around in her head a few moment’s before they would find her tongue. “I don’t plan on jeopardizing anything with him, not even if it concerns you. So the least I can upset him about how I am around his mates, the better. Whether I approve of his choices or not,” he added.
For that brief moment, Draco looked like an open book. She could see what he was thinking as if it were written on his face. Slight confusion, ‘Most likely caused by me being well, nice to him.’ she thought. Nerves, and the look of being drained emotionally all crossed his face. “I wish this weren’t so hard for you both. Especially you, Draco.”
Ginny nodded silently. She’d been thinking about an old muggle saying, ‘If you love something, let it go. If it come back, it’s yours, but if not then it was never yours to begin with’ and decided that it was best to let Harry be with Draco, even if it killed her inside. She blushed slightly at ‘If you still wish it was you in my place.’, but pushed those feelings to the back of her mind and locked them away. “I’m perfectly capable of letting things go, you know. And for the record, we both know that our hating each other is mutual, but for Harry’s sake, and your sanity I suppose, I’ll play nice.” She held her hand out for a hand shake to give him her word, half expecting him to shrug it off.
They stood there, staring at each other as his words replayed in her head. After a few minutes of silence Ginny smiled up at him. “Good. I’m glad we’ve come to this understanding, then. To be perfectly honest, I’d rather it be you than someone else.”
Draco gave her a curious expression at her sympathy and signs of maturity. He hadn’t been expecting her to back down. “Alright…” he said slowly. “Thanks, I suppose. Trust me when I say I wish it weren’t either.”
He glanced around the room, shifting in the awkward silence that had fallen between them, before sighing and uncrossing his arms. Pulling his wand from the inside of his perfectly pressed jacket, Draco waved it to conjure to shots of pale green liquor. The strongest stuff he’d managed to accomplish with a twist of his wrist—it was somewhat foul, but it had a mildly minty after taste that made it bearable. And seeing as quick and dirty loosening of tension was the objective, this stuff did the trick.
“Well then, bottoms up,” he said to her as he passed her the glass. Draco watched the ginger eye it somewhat warily, but if he knew anything about the bird, it’s that she took every challenge with a bold stance and a firm jaw. She was like Harry in that way. Bloody Gryffindors.
“To awkward understandings,” he offered, holding the glass out to hers in a cheers gesture, he waited till she mirrored his movements before throwing back the liquid in a swift backwards toss of his head.
Ginny eyed the green liquor in the glass, then looked around to make sure Ron wasn’t watching from some odd corner or something. He could be a bit protective sometimes, but right now he was probably off with Hermione somewhere. She gripped the glass with three fingers as she slipped it from Draco’s hand.
“To awkward… friendships.” she replied as they clinked the small glasses together, and tossed it back. It was only moments after that her nose wrinkle in distaste and swallowed as fast as she could, setting the glass back on the table. “Ugh, what was that? You aren’t trying to poison me, are you, ferret boy?” As she spoke the minty after-taste revealed itself, which was a welcome taste. Ginny sipped the remainder of her punch to chase it down.
12Ginny and Draco | Invitations To A Night To Remember
Ginny had been off talking to Luna and a few other students after coming down from the pre-party, but often keeping an eye out for Harry and Draco in case of any trouble brewing. Luckily, there wasn’t any so far.
With an apologetic smile, she excused herself from the small group she was with to go get a drink from the punch bowl- hoping no one had already spiked it. About half way over she spotted Draco by himself looking a bit apprehensive as they made eye contact. She was a bit too, as they hadn’t talked since that day in the corridor.
“Draco.” She said coolly, trying not to let on all she was feeling. He’s being awful civil. She thought to herself as she stepped sideways around him to reach the punch bowl and pour herself a glass before turning back to him. “Having a nice night?”
Draco barely contained the violent urge to bark back at her, but he managed to dull it down to a slight eye roll. He sipped his drink and let his eyes veer away from her, over the heads of the crowd, blankly watching the band on stage, but not really seeing.
“Yes, ginger, fabulous. So far tonight I’ve gotten verbally attacked by a handful of idiots, been alienated by most my housemates, and had a screaming match with the worthless sack of shit Smith.” But he felt a twinge of guilt when he thought of Harry’s company and he added, “I guess not everything is worth complaining about though.”
His silver gaze caught the top of Harry’s head across the room, and he gazed at those boyish, grinning features, wishing he could be there instead of here with Ginny. Or actually, wishing he could have those features all to himself in a deserted corridor, or an empty classroom or better yet, his luxurious bedroom back at the manor.

Harry,
Do come by the Burrow if you get the chance over break. You know Mum and Dad will want to see you, not to mention the rest of us Weasels, as Draco likes to call us.
Happy Christmas,
-Gin.
Ginny,
I’m about to head over as I send this- I just had a few Christmas things I had to pick up beforehand. I’ll be spending a few days with all of you before
Draco drags me off to ParisI join Draco in Paris. He has this notion that I must be a heathen because I’ve never been out of Britain besides Hogwarts, and he wants me to meet his mum. Hopefully by the time you get this I’ll be on my way!~Harry
Harry,
I should probably just wait and say this, but I’ll probably just forget what I’m thinking, but I’m so glad you’ll be staying with us after all! We can’t wait to see you. And you know Draco, he probably thinks everyone’s a heathen for something or another. Have fun in Paris though, it’s quite a lovely place from what I’ve seen in pictures, and I just know Mrs. Malfoy will adore you. Practically everyone does.
-Gin
4ooc I’m not dead I swear.
I’ve been out with friends a lot and haven’t had much inspiration to write lately. ;n; I’m sorry!
BUT, I’m replying now, so Harry, Draco, and Cho, be looking for them. :)
Ginny and Draco | Invitations To A Night To Remember
Draco huffed as Harry got pulled away again by a group of Gryffindors talking Quidditch and he was sure, talking Malfoy as well. His boyfriend cast him a slightly apologetic look before laughing at something Katie Bell was saying.
With a bit of a ruffled sigh, Draco turned, grabbing a punch off the table and made to wander around the other side of the Great Hall. Unfortunately for him, the Weaslette was suddenly smack dab in the middle of his path and walking right towards him looking just as trepidatious about the encounter as he was.
He’d managed to avoid her most of the night, only sharing a glance or two at the pre-party itself. He knew he would have to talk to her again at some point, but he was dreading it because Harry had already gotten miffed with him once tonight for being rude to his friends. And sure he wanted to please the git, but he really felt uncomfortable around the girl. The way she’d always watched Potter, the way she’s tossed her hair and batted her eyelashes and tried to get to him by being ‘the friend’ and ‘one of the guys’. She wasn’t the girliest of girls, and for some reason, this made it harder for Draco to laugh it off, like he does all the other bints who fawn over the Boy Who Lived. Because Ginny and he have things in common. The Weasley’s, Ron, Quidditch, a startling ability to be completely brash and reckless….
Biting the inside of his cheek, he willed himself to smooth his features into the most expressionless mask possible. He wasn’t sure he was entirely successful though because he felt pretty confident that his surly sort of discomfort and contempt was still visible as day.
“Evening, Weaslette,” he said with a nod. He didn’t spit it—it was all but civil, if it wasn’t for the fact that he’d called her a nickname she likely wouldn’t approve of. He hit his tongue until he tasted blood.

Cho and Ginny // Moving and shaking, jumping and a jiving.
Cho watched as Harry and Malfoy peeled off from the group with a smile, while she might think Malfoy is the biggest twat that ever walked the planet Harry was happy with him, and that was what was important. As she looked around the room and back to her fellow Ravenclaw’s Terry gave her a quick smile as he grabbed one of her fellow Seventh year’s hands and moved to the dance floor.
As the music slowed slightly and people started to pair off to dance Cho looked around the room for Lavender, but couldn’t spot her friend anywhere. It was strange to think that after the last few weeks she still had Lavender as a friend but luckily enough for her Lavender seemed the forgiving sort. Which reminded Cho that she really had to apoligise to Cormac for her behavior at the party upstairs. He was right in saying that it wasn’t his fault that Malfoy was a giant ass, and Cho shouldn’t be blaming him for things that the blonde boy had said. But as she peered around for him she couldn’t spot him around the room either.
Sighing slightly she moved around the room and stood leaning against the wall watching the dance floor in a bit of a daze, she was happy for her friends getting into couples. But she missed it for herself, she really just missed having someone to cuddle and be with. So letting her eyes close she lent her head back a small smile appearing on her face as she let her mind go back to her last yule ball with Cedric.
Ginny had been wandering around the room while the music played and couples danced for a while before she came across Cho leaning against a wall smiling to herself. I wonder what she’s thinking about.. Ginny asked herself as she neared the girl. “Aren’t we just a couple of wall flowers?” she asked looking a bit guilty as she broke Cho out of her peaceful trance.
She never really had anything in common that she could openly notice with her, but now was as good a time as any to talk to her to see if she was right or not. They could always talk about Harry and Draco if all else failed.
Cho heard a voice say ‘Aren’t we just a couple of wall flowers?’ lifting her head and opening her eyes she looked to where the voice was coming from, as soon as she saw the red hair she knew it was Ginny. Taking a moment to compose herself she gave a soft smile, “Yea I suppose we are. How are you doing this evening, with everything.” she said as she gave a half wave in the direction of Harry and Malfoy out on the dance floor.
As she looked across the dance floor at the pair of them dancing together she looked around at the people that seemed to be staring at them trying to remember everyone that seemed to be glaring daggers. Blinking a couple of times she realised she had zoned out, “Sorry Ginny, its just been a long day.” she said with a smile. She wasn’t sure if Ginny had known before hand about Harry and Malfoy being a pair but with her reaction at the party (or lack there of) she probably did.
Moving to lean against the wall with Cho, she paused a moment to think about what she would say. “I’ll live, I suppose.” she said half jokingly. “I’m glad he found someone to make him happy. Just wish I could do the same for myself.”
Ginny and Cho stood watching the pair dance for a while until Cho spoke up again. “I understand completely.” she sighed, but turned towards her and smiled. “At least we’ve got Holiday coming up soon. As much of a pain as they can be sometimes, I do miss the twins and Percy an awful lot. Not to mention Mum and Dad.. What are your plans for break?”
5Ginny | Leaving for Holiday| Closed
After a quick breakfast in the Great Hall, Ginny hurried back to the Gryffindor common room to pack her things for holiday. Excitedly she neatly folded all her things and placed them in her trunk, day dreaming about all the food and fun times ahead at the Burrow. Ginny closed her trunk, made her bed and then headed down to meet up with Ron to go to King’s Cross station and board the train home.

5Ginny and Draco | Invitations To A Night To Remember
Upon receiving the owl for Harry and Draco’s pre-ball party of sorts, Ginny came to the saddening realization that she really did have to let Harry go. Romantically of course, at least for now but more than likely forever. Gently petting down it’s smooth feathers she took out a cracker and handed it over to the big eyed bird, who gnawed on it happily.
Of course I’ll be there for you two.
-Ginny
Ginny folded the note and gave it back to the bird who flew off from the girls dormitory window. Now all she had to do was pull out a dress and get ready.

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting much, I’ve been doing Christmasy things and I’m wrapping presents right now, but as soon as I finish, I will reply/start/and write out Ginny’s leaving for the burrow.

So if anyone has sent me a starter or wants me to start I’ll get to it I promise.
I still have to start for Cho and Draco, I believe so just send a message or something to remind me.
